A downloadable game

Turn the elevator back on but don't make a noise - it could be hiding in the dark...

The Hush project:

Hush is a short horror game made by 8 French students during 4 weeks.  Your goal is to find four levers scattered in an ever-changing basement. The place is shrouded in darkness, therefore you will have to use the flash of your camera to find your way around. Once all the levers are activated, you just have to get to the elevator to escape.

Gameplay:

  • Short horror game
  • "Flash to see" mechanic
  • Ever-changing level
  • Sound-base stealth

Activate the levers:

Find your way to the four levers scattered around in the basement in order to activate the elevator. Once activated, try to get back and escape.

Escape from the monster:

During your exploration, you will be haunted by a monster wandering in the basement. As soon as you'll active the first lever, it'll start to hunt you until you get caught.

I really like the concept and it was really creepy as well but it's really difficult to avoid the monster, it needs some work on that part, so hopefully that gets sorted out soon, aside that it was neat, good work :)

Hello! Thanks a lot for taking the time to give us some feedback and recording/uploading a YT video! The monster is indeed one of the features that still need some polish as it was the first time that we ever had to deal with an artificial intelligence for a game. At the beginning of development we made it too "dumb" so I guess that now it's just a bit too much agressive and straightforward ahah. But yeah, we'll try to fix it in the future. Again thanks for your feedback!

Really good design on both the monster and the stress of trying to find the levers while it's hunting you. Sadly, playing this with a stomach bug left me with a hell of a headache, but a bit of polish and I could see this being even better.
